Place2Be President Dame Benny Refson DBE Speaks to The Pivotal Podcast

Earlier this week, Place2Be President Dame Benny Refson DBE, spoke to ‘The Pivotal Podcast’ to discuss the issues and potential solutions around child mental health.

Dame Benita Refson DBE

When we look at the complex world we live in and the issues that young people have to grapple with, it’s not easy for them, as it’s not easy for adults. We have to remind ourselves in an adult's world there are also children and what happens in the world impacts the children too. Dame Benny Refson DBE, Place2Be President

In the podcast, Benny discusses the wonderful practice happening in schools today and the current state of collaboration and co-ordination amongst schools and agencies.

Outside of Place2Be, Benny also serves as a trustee of Children of Success Schools, Forward Trust and a Governor at Bridge Academy, a coeducational secondary school and sixth in Hackney, demonstrating her commitment to improving children’s mental health.

Pivotal Education was founded in 2001, and provides behaviour training for teachers across schools and colleges.
